OBSERVATORY OF WOMEN IN POLITICS: GENDER INEQUALITY AND SOCIAL HIERARCHIZATION REFLECTED IN THE OCCUPATION OF ELECTED POSITIONS IN LATIN AMERICA
The Observatory of Women in Politics is a research and extension project, developed at FGV Direito Rio, which seeks to analyze how the social hierarchization of genders and the sexual division of labor influence the occupation of elective political positions, limiting the field of possibilities for action, opportunities for ascension to positions of command and the accumulation of political capital by women.
