• The main objective of this project is to identify and map different types of brokers, mostly in the City of São Paulo, based on in-depth interviews (50).
• Researching qualitatively what happens “on the ground” of political interactions allows us to better cover two gaps in the literature:

1) who these intermediary actors are (how they act, what their formal or informal relationship with parties);

2) the different repertoire they use to deal with voters.
