FIFA chamber of compensation with blockchain

The present research proposal aims to develop a Blockchain market for FIFA transactions of football players. In the last ten years (2011-2020) of professional players transactions, there was an estimated amount of US$49 billion dollars exchanged. 5% of the according value between clubs must be given to the club responsible for developing this athlete to the professional level. It means that that roughly US$2.45 billion would have to be paid, yet data from FIFA itself states that only US$700 million have been actually paid to the clubs. This law from FIFA is called the mechanism of solidarity, and it shows how difficult it is to keep track of the transactions and assure that every party involved is getting their due. By using Blockchain technology, we can make sure that all clubs get their due almost instantly.
