Digital Identity Governance: Risks and Opportunities for Citizenship on the Path to the 2030 Agenda
This proposal aims to conduct a critical examination of the accessibility and effectiveness of the Brazilian federal government's initiatives related to digital identity. Employing a combination of qualitative and quantitative research methods, the project seeks to evaluate the impact of these policies specifically within the Brazilian context, focusing on marginalized communities. Special emphasis will be given to understanding the influence of the COVID-19 pandemic on the effectiveness of digital identity policies in Brazil. Additionally, the study aims to assess how well these domestic policies align with the international standards established by the United Nations' 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
