FGV opens opportunities for researchers to seek partnerships to develop projects

Researchers from various institutions in Brazil and abroad will have the opportunity to present research project proposals to be developed in partnership through the formation of multidisciplinary teams at the VII FGV Research Symposium. The Flash Presentations panel, which is one of the new features of this edition, will be held on the afternoon of September 13 and will feature representatives from various research funding organizations. This year, the Symposium takes place on September 12, 13, and 14 at the FGV Cultural Center, located in Rio de Janeiro.
"This panel was designed for researchers who have a research project proposal that could benefit from collaboration with researchers in the Social Sciences and Humanities and other areas of knowledge," said FGV's Director of Research and Innovation, Goret Pereira Paulo. Interested parties should send their presentations to the email research.net@fgv.br by September 1. The presentation template can be found at this link.
On this occasion, researchers will be able to introduce, in up to 10 minutes, the objectives, methodology, and next steps necessary for the development of a multidisciplinary research project.
Representatives from the São Paulo Research Foundation (Fapesp), Carlos Chagas Filho Foundation for Research Support of the State of Rio de Janeiro (Faperj), Funding Authority for Studies and Projects (Finep), Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (Capes), National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq), and National Council of State Research Support Foundations (Confap) are confirmed to attend. Representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Itamaraty) and the Ministry of Science, Technology, and Innovation (MCTI) are also confirmed to attend.
The FGV Research Symposium aims to structure networks of researchers from Brazil and abroad to promote the implementation of multidisciplinary research projects with a high impact on the country's socioeconomic development. This year, debates will be held on topics representing the main current challenges of society: Research and Innovation; Ethics and Integrity in Research; Socioeconomic Impacts of Climate Change and Environmental Disasters; Communication and New Social Order; Tax Reform and Fiscal Framework.
