Production of sustainable aviation fuels from residual biomass
This research project proposes the establishment of chemical conversion routes of biomass from residual biomass into SAFs using heterogeneous catalysis. To achieve this goal, conversions from raw biomass up to hydrocarbons in the C8 to C16 range will be studied, combining technologies.
Partners are expected to help develop the project (scientific partnership) and provide financial support for its execution. We have the technology and knowledge for transforming residual lignocellulosic biomasses from past projects in our group. We have an ongoing project funded by FAPERJ that will soon end. Your financial support is crucial for its continuation and success. We are seeking potential partners interested in contributing to this important work.
