FGV Central Office of Research Integrity

The FGV Central Office of Research Integrity (CORI), established in 2023, coordinates the FGV Scientific Integrity System, which includes all of its schools and units. With the CORI, FGV strengthens its leadership and reinforces its commitment to research integrity, aligning with the requirements and concerns of national and international institutions.

In an increasingly complex, diverse, and technology-driven research landscape, the CORI aims to promote a culture of research integrity within the institution, raising awareness among FGV community members about its value, preventing misconduct, and enhancing FGV's governance system by establishing clear rules and procedures for scientific integrity cases.

The CORI is a multidisciplinary collegial body with advisory, deliberative, and educational roles, and includes representatives from all of FGV's schools and external members. Its responsibilities include the creation of institutional documents on research supervision, coordinating preventive and educational actions, responding to inquiries from institution members, and investigating and processing reports of misconduct.
