The FGV Research and Innovation Office held a workshop on research project funding opportunities on July 14 at 2:30 PM (BRT).

During the workshop, current funding opportunities from the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq) were presented.

Established in 1951, CNPq plays a key role in the development and implementation of public policies in science, technology, and innovation in Brazil. The Council recently launched two new funding opportunities:

• CNPq Call No. 09/2023 – Research Productivity Fellowships and Senior Research Productivity Fellowships
• CNPq/MCTI Call No. 10/2023 – UNIVERSAL

Both calls aim to support research projects that significantly contribute to Brazil’s scientific and technological development and innovation, across all fields of knowledge.

The workshop covered submission guidelines, eligibility criteria, and other relevant topics.
