The FGV Research and Innovation Office held a workshop on research project funding opportunities on August 9 at 2:30 PM (BRT).

During the event, a new opportunity from the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq) was presented.

Established in 1951, CNPq plays a key role in shaping and implementing public policies in science, technology, and innovation in Brazil. The Council recently launched the following call for proposals: Public Call MCTI/CNPq No. 14/2023 – Support for International Scientific, Technological, and Innovation Research Projects.

The main objective of the call is to support international research proposals that aim to contribute to the country’s scientific, technological, and innovation development through the provision of scholarships abroad and funding for project costs, across all fields of knowledge.

The workshop presented the submission guidelines for this opportunity, along with eligibility criteria and other relevant information.
